Museum Ebianum – caterpillar passion meets acoustic surrender
Switzerland: When the love of caterpillars and construction machinery is going too passionate, the next step to open an own museum is not far away. This is also the case with the Eberhard family, where the four brothers purchased an existing hall of 3,300 m² in 2010. This meant that a famous caterpillar museum was to be realized in Fisibach. The aim was not only to exhibit machines, but also to tell the story of the company founders, from simple farmers to today’s big construction company.
The Ebianum was conceived in such a way that in addition to the exhibition all kinds of events can take place. The rooms offer a wide range of services and are equipped with the latest sound technology and infrastructure. From a simple meeting to a representative company event, the museum offers the ideal setting for an unforgettable event.
Our Swiss distributor Chris Steiger from Promedias and the renowned team of the Habegger AG used the proven technology for the audiovisual implementation in the event hall and installed five TouringLine Compact each stage in a classic left / right arrangement. The Linearray systems were combined with two TouringLine Compact Bass subwoofers installed as a flightbass. Due to the spatial depth of the hall, which accommodates around 750 visitors, two flanking Touringsticks are used to refresh the sound signal after a distance of 25 meters from the stage.
