Double 5″ Fullrange Loudspeaker

The Magnus Compact fills the gap between the Magnus12 and our Picospot. It is essential for all applications requiring maximum acoustic efficiency and extremely compact speaker dimensions. Outstanding speech intelligibility combined with excellent dispersion characteristics make the Magnus Compact the ultimate product.

The Magnus Compact is equipped 2x 5″ Neodymium drivers and 1x 1″ Neodymium compression driver in d´Apollito arrangement. The Horn can be rotated by 90° and has a dispersion of 90° x 60°. The nicely shaped enclosure is PU coated and withstands the rigors of the touring business and sub-optimal weather conditions.

Practical application guaranteed

The Magnus Compact can be used as a full range or mid-high system in combination with our Subwoofers. For practical use in the field, we developed a special bracket which can be used for vertical and horizontal pitch.

Optimal for PCN operation

The Magnus Compact has been engineered for PCN (phase correction network) and thus unites the economic advantages of a passively crossed over loudspeaker with the sound quality, reliability and performance of an actively (i.e. DSP) controlled system. Its internal passive network provides optimal frequency division and phase alignment of both ways, and thus excellent directivity characteristics. Equalization, speaker protection and powering is provided through our NT-Series and DSPs and amplifiers.
