12″ Line-Array Loudspeaker

The touringline is our current flagship product and the result of extensive research, development and optimization of all components. No detail overlooked, no demand not incorporated. The TouringLine sets a new standard in line array technology applicability. No more, and definitely no less!
The TouringLine is a powerful 2-way line source loudspeaker containing an internal passive crossover for economic semi-active operation. It incorporates a direct radiating 12″ neodymium low-mid woofer and a neodymium high frequency driver / wave former combination. The line array wave former has a nominal coverage pattern of 90° x 10°. The unique 12“ low-mid woofer provides that which is often missing in so called Compact-Arrays: bottom end. The TouringLine has thick and warm low-mids and makes very low crossover frequencies possible. For many applications it is possible to use the TouringLine without additional subwoofers.
Easy handling – fast assembly
With the proprietary “Quick-Rig” system, putting the array into service is easy and efficient: A 12-element array flies within fifteen minutes – including chain hoist, bumper and splay angle setup! By using T6 aluminium in combination with high load steel, it was possible to minimize the weight to 29 kg per element. A 6-element array including rigging frame weighs less than 200 kilograms.
Fulfilled BGV C1 requirement
The available accessories round off the touringline system perfectly: The TouringLine dolly takes up to 12 elements including rigging frame and small parts. Its dimensions fit into the footprint of the Euro-Pallet trucking grid. The rigging frame is made of high load steel and has got detailed labelling for easy usage. The complete rigging system of the TouringLine is certified for safe rigging of up to 24 modules on one frame according to the strict BGV C1 requirements.
With our loudspeaker data and Ease Focus 2 software, coverage of the TouringLine Modules as well as our other systems can be quickly simulated and rigging can be determined with great reliability.

For optimal operation, the use of AD-Systems’ DSP and amplifiers are recommended. All necessary setups are on board, all relevant and appropriate parameters are set within seconds.

Notes on performance data and graphs:
- Performance Specifications: All acoustic specifications rounded to nearest whole number.
Either NT4 DSP Amplifiers or external DSP with provided settings are required to achieve the specified performance. - Frequency response: Range of the processed response, where the level stays within 6dB from nominal sensitivity.
- Power Handling: Is based on the AES power handling of the transducers.
- Nominal Sensitivity: SPL produced by the unit at 1 Watt at nominal impedance, referenced to 1 Meter.
Measurement condition: Full space in the far field of the speaker. Time-windowed to approximate an anechoic environment. - Maximum SPL: Calculated from nominal sensitivity at stated peak input power.
- Resolution: For better readability a 1/6 octave smoothing is applied to all response graphs shown.

TL – Touringline Dolly
Our Touringline Dolly allows simple and safe transport of up to 6 TL modules. Stowed in the lid also the "Rigging Frame" and has an additional compartment for audio accessories. The dolly was equipped with four Blue-Wheels and has truck-compatible dimensions of 80 x 120 cm. Order number: 7011000134

LAP-TEQ Inclinometer
